  Fortune Dancer is a six-year-old chesnut mare by Soldier Of Fortune. Fortune Dancer has made a good recovery from a tendon injury incurred in the spring of 2023 and spent time in pre-training to ensure she completed plenty of slow and steady strengthening work. She returned to training with Chris Gordon in the summer and has had a trouble-free few months. She ran well for a long way at Lingfield in November, before getting tired after such a long lay-off. We look forward to seeing her back on the racecourse again shortly, with Chris considering options over fences as well as hurdles.

  Golden Duke is a five-year-old chesnut gelding by Galileo Gold. Golden Duke has been very consistent this year and has been placed both on the turf and the all-weather. Nigel Tinkler hopes that Golden Duke will continue to give his owners plenty of action in the coming months. He had a wind operation this autumn. Golden Duke is in training with Nigel Tinkler, who is based just outside Malton in North Yorkshire.

  Six-year-old bay gelding (Jumps) Trainer: Donald McCain (Cheshire) Shares available for £32

  Quaresome is a six-year-old bay gelding by Parish Hall. Quaresome was placed a couple of times over hurdles this year, at Sedgefield and Market Rasen. He didn't take to jumping fences at Sedgefield in November and Donald McCain plans to revert to timber this winter. Quaresome recently had an 'MOT' and Donald reports that he's moving well after having his joints medicated. Quaresome is in training with Donald McCain in Cheshire.

  Beraz is a six-year-old bay gelding by Zoffany. Beraz has proved very progressive on the Flat for Julie Camacho and is currently rated 88. He’s effective on easy ground and the all-weather from 1m2f to 1m4f and looks likely to give his owners plenty of fun over the coming months. Beraz is in training with Julie Camacho in Malton, North Yorkshire. Julie has enjoyed a wonderful couple of seasons recently, including Group 1 successes with the top-class sprinter Shaquille.

  Eight-year-old bay gelding (Jumps) Trainer: Emma Lavelle (Wiltshire) Shares available for £39

  Gold Link has won twice over fences and is a progressive young chaser. Trained by Emma Lavelle, Gold Link is a consistent performer and could improve further once his jumping improves. He disappointed on his last start at Huntingdon in April, but his heart was found to be out of rhythm. This soon corrected itself and the vets are hopeful that it was a one-off.

  Diderot has developed into a smart handicapper in recent seasons, winning three races for his Owners Group owners and being placed in many others. His latest success came in a competitive race at Chelmsford in December. Since then, he has finished third in a Listed race and run well in defeat at the All-Weather Championships at Newcastle on Good Friday. James Ferguson is hopeful that he can translate his all-weather form to the turf.
